Living Room – Done!

There was just a little more to do in the living room to be considered officially done. We needed pillows for the chairs, so I picked out some fabulous gold-colored fabric and had them made by Tracy. I also installed some hold-backs for the curtains. I think everything looks really nice! And now it’s officially done! Well, excepting the art for the wall…

    I love it!

As for artwork, I’ve always wanted to get large, square canvases, the over-an-inch deep ones, and paint each one color in a scheme to match whatever the room. Then hang on the wall either 4 in a square or 9 in a square or 6 in a 2×3 rectangle or what-have-you. Just a thought.

If you like this thought and choose to do say, 4, you could do three in solid colors and have the top, right be the stripe pattern and color of your stripey chair. You have mad skills with painter’s tape;)

OOH! And you could pipe a frame on the stripey one in your pink:)

    You clever girl!
I do have a color-block theme in mind, using some “art that has not yet been turned to art” that I’ve been saving for years. It takes paint chips, so it’s very affordable. 🙂

Not sure when I’m going to find to do that, though. Otherwise, I was thinking about painting the wall a solid accent color. Can never pick the right color, though, so not sure about that…
