We had a great time this Halloween. My mom came over and helped dish out candy while Dave took Henry to a few neighbors for his first trick-or-treat. Hiroe arrived just in time to experience her first ever Halloween night. We had one pumpkin carved and our front porch looked great. Henry had a great time seeing all the kids in costumes and getting passed around from person to person.
We all know that Dave is an awesome dad. More proof is his visit to daycare last Friday to participate in the Halloween festivities. The girls at daycare were enamored of him because he was so helpful, and he had a great time seeing all the kids in their costumes. The costumes included an elephant, several pumpkins, a tigger, a vampire, a devil, a lion and of course Henry was a monster. The kids had a great time and were just so cute!!!
Trying not to post too many pics of the kids, but Zoe is so stinkin’ cute in this picture that I’m posting it. I’m pretty sure her mom is a blogger so I think it’s OK. Molly, can you pass this link on?
Dave entertained Henry while I carved my pumpkin today. I wanted to re-attempt the Aladdin Sane pumpkin I did last year, but just didn’t have the energy to work it out. Cristin, I am passing this task on to you. Run with it!
On Saturday we got a last minute invite to drop by Andrea’s Annual Pumpkin Carving party with Ele, Will and Finn.
No pumpkins were carved by this family, however, as we had to get Henry home for bedtime.
Henry destroys Toy City in his monster-iffic halloween costume.
His costume says “little monster” on the feet.

He is a terror, isn’t he?

Had a great time visiting Dave’s family in Cleveland over the fourth of July holiday. Henry got to meet the rest of his uncles and aunts and cousins! We also got to see Leslie and Vince’s house down in Hudson - it’s fabulous and the work they’ve done to it is amazing. We got to meet more of Vince’s family, which is nice, too, in preparation for their wedding in November.

Lots of food and lots of presents, that’s the way the Dickens Christmas rolls.

More Browns gear for the baby
Aside from the Browns gear we scored for the baby, Dave got a Baby Bjorn and I got this amazingly soft and beautiful throw that Amber was coveting.
It was another great Christmas!
