Since you were getting video of them, I’m sure you got even more attached to them, seeing them everyday.
I tried hard to prepare for dead chicks on my end b/c the attrition rate is pretty high for chickens. If there’s a problem nature makes it so they either don’t hatch or die soon after. I felt bad for them but I also had 7 live chicks I had to take care of, so that helped.
