{"id":1200,"date":"2008-04-10T18:02:44","date_gmt":"2008-04-10T22:02:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.iheartdavids.com\/blog\/2008\/04\/tricky-tricky\/"},"modified":"2008-04-10T18:02:44","modified_gmt":"2008-04-10T22:02:44","slug":"tricky-tricky","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iheartdavids.com\/blog\/2008\/04\/10\/tricky-tricky\/","title":{"rendered":"Tricky Tricky!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have a few squirrels that have gotten into our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iheartdavids.com\/blog\/category\/birds\">bird feeders<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Even though we have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shopwbu.com\/product\/part_number=3054\/567.0.25214.0.0.0.0\">squirrel baffles<\/a> on our poles, they&#8217;ve figured out a way to thwart us. First, they started jumping down from the gutter onto the poles, and then they learned how to jump from the porch railing onto the window screen onto the poles. *Sigh*<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;ve emptied our one <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shopwbu.com\/product\/part_number=1287\/567.0.25206.25782.0.0.0\">&#8220;house-shaped&#8221; feeder<\/a> so we keep it empty or filled with safflower, which fewer birds like. <\/p>\n<p>Then they started feasting on peanuts from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shopwbu.com\/product\/part_number=1275\/567.0.25206.23447.0.0.0\">peanut feeder<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><img src='http:\/\/www.iheartdavids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/04\/img_1321-1.JPG' alt='squirrel 1' \/><\/p>\n<p>And most recently, they&#8217;ve figured out how to circumvent our fancy <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shopwbu.com\/product\/part_number=2720\/567.0.25206.25760.0.0.0\">squirrel-proof feeder<\/a>. See?<br \/>\n<img src='http:\/\/www.iheartdavids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/04\/img_1319-1.JPG' alt='squirrel 2' \/><br \/>\nLuckily, this problem is easily remedied. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have a few squirrels that have gotten into our bird feeders.
