Mulch Masters?

Monday we had 10 yards of mulch delivered to our driveway. Dave and his dad spent a few hours in the afternoon spreading it around the flower beds.



I, of course, took it easy.

    10 yards??? TEN YARDS????

    I thought I was being fancy and over-the-top to get 3 yards of dirt/compost delivered!

    We thought we needed about 8, but there was a $35 delivery fee for under 10 yards, so I went ahead and got 10. Our flower beds can stand to be under about 3-4 inches of mulch, so I think it’s going to work out.

    Your beds have got to be lovin’ you!!!!! I cannot imagine spreading that much mulch at one time. I’ve had mulching on my to-do list for the last month or so–still haven’t done it.
