Swap-O-Rama-Rama!

What: Swap-O- rama rama Sunday, May 20, 12-5 pm
Where: Downtown Durham’s Armory (Located at 220 Foster St, Durham, NC)
What: Men and women, girls and boys, come one come all! Bring suggested donation of $10 and a bag of clothes you want to unload and swap, swap, swap away! DIY sewing stations, screen printing, fashion runway and story telling. Raffle, prizes, drawings!! Fun for all!!!

SeeSaw Studios and The Scrap Exchange are coming together to produce our third Swap-O-Rama Rama. We will have DIY stations where you can alter clothes and make exciting new accessories from what your fellow swappers have brought in. We will also have veteran reusers and designers on hand to demonstrate techniques for embellishing clothing and making something new from something old.

Other activities include: Trashion Show, screen-printing and storytelling. (We are pleased to be part of a national network of Swap-O-Rama Rama’s created by Wendy Tremayne, – visit http://www.swaporamarama.org/ for more information.)
