My chair arrived!

My chair arrived yesterday! I think it looks fabulous and goes perfectly with the rug! The colors couldn’t be a better match. Dave thinks the rug is quite busy but is still withholding judgement. Can I get opinions from any of you about the rug? Or the rug with the chair, whatever. You’re opinionated people, I’m sure you won’t hold back. 🙂

    Love the chair. I love the colors. The rug isn’t my style, but the colors match and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy says it’s okay to match two patterns if one is bigger than the other and the rug pattern is bigger than the stripe pattern and the large amount of brown in the rug grounds everything well.

    I think it’s all great! BUT, you know me, I like COLOR! I love patterns, texture, etc…. Dave’s probably telling you to disregard whatever I say about decorating;) Maybe some day I’ll become a minimalist–hopefully.

    Well, i AM a minimalist, and I say it’s gorgeous. Rarely do you get a good pattern-clash-match as you have done so well! That’s too sophisticated a design element for my sorry ass!

    I’m all: BLUE! WHITE! WOOD! SOLID!
