I spent the weekend trying to get our registries in order. I was surprised at how long it took. I spent lots of time learning all about the different brands and options and trying to read product reviews as well. With the help of Baby Bargains and Parents Baby Gear, along with the InterWebs and sneaking a peak at Ele’s registries, I think we’re in pretty good shape.
We’re now registered at Babies-R-Us, Target and MyRegistry.com. All you parents out there, please let me know if I’ve missed something important or registered for something really, really dumb. I’ve never done this before. 🙂

Hi! You don’t know me, but I’m a friend of Cristin’s, and a new mom. Since I don’t know you I can’t access your baby gear reg. I don’t know what’s on it. ANYHOW…I wish someone had told me to stock up on tank tops with built in shelf bras. Get a bunch of them from walmart, it’s not worth it to get the “nursing tanks” I live in them b/c they offer some support and give you a place to put my next fave. and personally mandatory baby thing. Nursing pads from Lansinoh. In a purple box from target. The tanks allow easy nursing access and hold the pads on you nips so you don’t flood all your tops. Good luck!

Thanks Dottie! I did register for a few nursing tanks from Target – they came highly recommended by my friend Ele. And I did also register for some nursing pads – thanks for both recommendations!
